Damning Sundance Review: WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA?

Morgan Spurlock, possibly the world's most inventive documentary film-maker has come up with a concept so brilliant and striking that you know it's guaranteed gold and will get people to talk but that's only if he delivered or came close, or even tried really god Damn hard to deliver the impossible. He needed to come close to Osama or at least get to a point where the audience knows something about the situation that we didn't know before. We need Spurlock to be made out as putting in more effort than the U.S. Government on this thing because at the end of the day that's the hook here, making the White House look inept.

A damning review of the film has gone out on AICN from Rav and I can't believe how horrible WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN sounds...
This movie is fucking retarded. Maybe it would feel less retarded if it wasn€™t for all those rumors of him actually finding and interviewing Bin Laden. Or maybe it would come off less stupid if he had just titled it €œSuper Size Me 2: Middle East Vacation€ cause that is more accurate as to what it really is. This is not a film about finding Osama Bin Laden or at the very least debunking the rumors of where he isn€™t. He gives up the whole thing after seeing a sign that says €œForeigners are not allowed in this area.€ (I wish I was kidding) That€™s it. It€™s just one big 98 minute Morgan Spurlock ego-fart...This film is very much in the running for worst of the festival.
Sounds terrible doesn't it and such a shame from the guy who cleverly made the informative SUPER SIZE ME. If this review above is accurate then The Weinsteins might have bought a dud. People will probably see it anyway because of it's concept and title but there could be some scathing reviews come the time Harry and Bob decide to give it a theatrical run.
