Dawson's Creek flows to the ISLAND for Michelle Williams
Variety. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN star and former DAWSON'S CREEK regular Michelle Williams will play Leonardo DiCaprio's wife in Martin Scorsese's next film which will begin shooting early next year. We've spoke about this project a couple of times before but in case you need reminding, SHUTTER ISLAND is Paramount's adaptation of the Dennis Lehane's novel that will see DiCaprio star for Scorsese for the fourth time in a row, this time as a U.S. marshal who is sent to investigate the strange disappearance of a patient from a remote New England islands mental prison hospital. ZODIAC star Mark Ruffalo will play DiCaprios partner whilst Academy Award winning British actor Ben Kingsley will portray the chief physician of the mental hospital. Talented people working for a legendary director, is always good news. And a little about the web backlash against Marty using DiCaprio again. What Scorsese is doing with Leo right now is stellar stuff, getting performances out of his leading man that he use to get out of a certain Robert De Niro. Why hunt for more leading men when DiCaprio is growing with each performance?
