DC Cinematic Universe: 10 Things You Need To Know

4. Cyborg Is The Wild Card

Before Aquaman, Wonder Woman, or even Lex Luthor's involvement was confirmed in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Warner Bros announced something of an outlier turning up in their next blockbuster movie: Vic Stone, better known as Cyborg. Set to be played by theatre actor Ray Fisher, it's unknown what part the character will play in the film, and there's yet to be any images of how the robotic star will appear on screen. Cyborg's an interesting choice not only for a solo movie but also as a member of the Justice League, since the character spent the better part of his publication history hanging with the Teen Titans. Stone has become an integral part of the Justice League since the DC Universe was totally revamped (long story), but his own series have always floundered. He has a pretty great, horrific origin - having been used as a guinea pig for his mad scientist parents, he's blessed with a genius-level IQ but loses half his limbs in a botch experiment, having them replaced by robotic enhancements. Most his big stories are tied in with the Titans (who are, apparently, set to star in yet another TV show, just to muddy the waters further) and the League, so it remains to be seen how he works on his own €“ and how Fisher deals with movie acting.
