DCEU: 10 Mistakes Warner Bros. Has Made With Its DC Slate

5. No Plans For Superman

Last year, we heard that Warner Bros. had put its Superman plans on hold to instead focus on bringing Supergirl to the big screen. Well, earlier this week, a report surfaced indicated that there is, in fact, something in the works for the Man of Steel, but with nothing concrete having been revealed in that respect, it still seems doubtful that we'll see more of Henry Cavill's Superman in cinemas.

After all, the actor had a terrible experience working on Justice League thanks to the ridicule which followed, and the studio reportedly decided to cut him from Shazam! because of disputes over money.

It's crazy to think that we're moving into the next era of DC Comics adaptations without Superman, especially as he's the company's most iconic creation alongside Batman. A new solo adventure should be a priority, but there's nothing pencilled in for at least the next few years, and that's got to be one of the biggest blunders Warner Bros. has made in recent memory.

We can only hope we'll see more of Superman moving forward, but definitely don't count on it.
