DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

10. Birds Of Prey

Deathstroke Harley Quinn
DC Comics/Ed Benes

Chances Of It Happening: 6/10

Before Suicide Squad even came out, reports of a Harley Quinn spinoff movie - starring Margot Robbie and featuring several other female heroes and villains - began surfacing online, and in late 2016, this was revealed as Gotham City Sirens, and was set to be directed by Suicide Squad helmer David Ayer.

But soon after that, a Joker/Harley spinoff and a Birds Of Prey movie were both announced, causing some confusion over why there were so many Harley movies in development at once.

If produced, Gotham City Sirens and Birds Of Prey would be quite similar (both revolve around a group of edgy female characters), so it makes sense that only one of them actually gets made, and a recent report from TheWrap seems to indicate that Birds Of Prey will be the one that wins out.

The last major thing we heard about Birds Of Prey was that it's being scripted by Christina Hodson, with Robbie producing. The actress is said to have fallen in love with DC's female characters, making this movie something of a passion project for her.

And this, coupled with Harley Quinn's immense popularity and the relegation of Gotham City Sirens, makes Birds Of Prey a good - but not certain - bet.
