DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

9. Cyborg

Deathstroke Harley Quinn
Warner Bros.

Chances Of It Happening: 5/10

The reception to Cyborg after Justice League - like the film itself - was mixed, with some fans enjoying the troubled, human take on the character and some slamming him for his dourness and patchy CGI.

A standalone Cyborg flick was revealed in 2014 (before the character's first on-screen appearance), and since then, the project has gone dark, with few official news updates hitting the web.

And that, when coupled with the response to Justice League, is enough to assume the project has been canned altogether, but according to Ray Fisher - the film's star - it's still happening.

"Things are in development" he told ComicBook.com when asked about his solo movie, with the actor also confirming - in mid-2017 - that the movie was still on track for a 2020 release.

That's far from a confirmation, but you have to assume Fisher is in the loop in some capacity. But still, until Cyborg is formally acknowledged by Warner Bros - especially in a post-Justice League world - it's hard to be confident it will happen.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
