DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

6. Untitled Harley/Joker Film

Deathstroke Harley Quinn
Warner Bros.

Chances Of It Happening: 4/10

Another of the seemingly endless Harley Quinn movies that are up in the air at Warner Bros, this one was revealed in July 2017, and was described as a spinoff that would pit Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn "against" Jared Leto's Joker.

Soon after, THR reported that Glenn Ficarra and John Requa - directors of Crazy, Stupid, Love - were in final negotiations to direct the film, with Robbie later confirming their involvement.

It's clear that Warner Bros wants to get Harley back on the screen as soon as possible, so they've set different groups of people to develop all these different Harley projects, including this one, Birds Of Prey, and Gotham City Sirens. The studio doesn't intend for all these movies to get made - they're just trying to see what sticks.

But with Birds Of Prey looking like the most likely candidate to enter full production (and Harley also appearing in Suicide Squad 2), the character already has enough exposure, meaning that Harley vs The Joker is simply unnecessary.

Plus, Jared Leto's Joker was hardly the most beloved part of Suicide Squad, so doesn't banking on him to co-lead a massive picture seem a bit risky?
