DCEU: 21 In-Development Movies Ranked From Most To Least Likely

20. Shazam!

Warner Bros & Boss Logic

Chances Of It Happening: 10/10

With a director and cast in place (and a 2019 release date set) DC's Shazam! movie is set to begin filming imminently.

Jumping from the MCU to the DCEU, Zachary Levi was cast in the title role in October 2017, and since then, Shazam! has added a host of talented actors (including It's Jack Dylan Grazer), and the film's director, David F. Sandberg, has provided plenty of updates along the way.

Plus, a recent report has sparked rumours that Henry Cavill's Superman - sans moustache - will don the red cape for an appearance in the movie. At this point, this is unconfirmed, but there's no smoke without fire.

Everything we've heard about Shazam! indicates that the project is in good shape, and will be primed and ready for its release in just over a year from now.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
