2. Aquaman 2 IS Happening

As widely expected - and indeed far more expected than the announcement of The Trench - Warner Bros have also announced that they're officially making Aquaman 2.

According to THR, the studio has lined up David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, the co-writer of the first movie to write a follow-up to James Wan's original. Wan is also cutting a deal to produce, but his status as director is not yet clear.

We can no doubt count on Jason Momoa and Amber Heard to return, as well as wider cast members like Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren and even Patrick Wilson. The plot would inevitably in some way focus on Black Manta's revenge as teased in the mid-credits sequence and his new alliance with Dr Shin.
