Deadpool 3: 8 MCU Characters That Need To Appear

Everybody was excited about Deadpool’s return to the big screen, and for countless reasons. The character’s general popularity, that it would be the MCU’s first R-rated movie, and the first major Fox character to get his own solo movie. The list goes on. Now there has been a whole new reason added to the list that heads straight to the top. Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine.

This changes the game in so many ways, and aside from offering redemption from the horrendous X-Men: Origins, this gives Deadpool 3 a platform to bring in one of the missed opportunities from Wolverine’s cinematic history.

One of Logan’s greatest rivals in the history of Marvel Comics is the Hulk. It was the Jade Giant that Wolverine was sent after in his very first appearance, and the two have tussled many times since then. Just imagine the spectacle of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine going toe to toe with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.

While Bruce’s Smart Hulk persona may change the coming together of the two savage beasts quite drastically, not to mention the fact that the Hulk is currently off-world, there are plenty of ways around this.

There’s no reason Deadpool 3 has to take place in the present-day MCU, and there isn’t even reason to believe it will take place on Earth-616. A proper face-off between a raging Hulk and the Wolverine will be seen as essential to many fans.
