25. Out Of The Ashes
There's a nice shot of Deadpool rising out of the ashes of the poor man's Weapon X programme. Presumably he was left for (assumed) dead, and suffered pretty terribly, which has a way of changing your outlook. There's no building left, so you have to imagine that there's also nothing left of his fellow test subjects. Later in the trailer there's another reminder of how this destruction happens: Wade escapes, Wade tries to take down Ajax, and clearly, Wade loses... Expect this to be a good bit, as Miller says it's one of his favourites.
"...Theres a fight in the second act that I think we have a couple of shots for, where Deadpool and Ajax fight in this burning building that is one of my favourite moments. Its a great action piece and its also a really amazing character moment both for the character of Deadpool but for Wade as well, in the movie. And it was a really terrible two days shooting it, but man, I f*cking loved it. Its just a great scene."
