Deadpool Trailer 2 Breakdown: 40 Things You Need To See

7. Super Slo-Mo Fourth Wall Breaking

You get the sense there's going to be lots of slow motion - particularly to allow Deadpool to talk to the audience. Miller admits that he liked the moments so much he added some more in after the initial plans:
"We did go back when we did some additional photography. We liked it so much that we got even a little more. And we tried to use it more for an opportunity to just lay down exposition on people which I think is cool. Because you could use that as a crutch, but I don€™t think we did at all. I€™m sure I€™m going to get skewered by fans for one thing or another. But he€™s really complicated and there€™s stuff we couldn€™t - like the schizophrenia is a big thing in the comics, but you couldn't really explore that in the film. It was just too much to load into an origin story, an introduction."
Will there be more of that in a sequel? Let's hope there's a chance of it at least.
