Disney's Star Wars Land: 10 Dream Attractions Fans Need To See

5. Chase Through Endor Forest

Amongst the most iconic moments in Stars Wars history are the speeder chases through the forest of Endor in Return Of The Jedi. Who can forget watching Luke and Leia blast through the trees while attempting to chase down scout troopers to stop them from alerting the Rebels to their presence? Though the scene in the film is exhilarating itself, who wouldn't want to experience that chase in a physical, tangible setting?

The best way to do such a ride would probably be through a combination of genuine movement and simulation, something similar to the Hogwarts Castle ride at Universal Studios. Using shoulder harnesses for safety, ride-goers could sit two or three at a time on a replica speeder, and a vision-encompassing screen could simulate the experience of shooting through Endor. Distinct from the screen the speeder itself could tilt and shudder while moving.

Like the Hogwarts Castle attraction, ride-goers might move around a physical space in order to keep the whole thing flowing, coming up alongside actual models of scout troopers and actual, replica trees before returning to the next screen. Using a conveyor belt system would allow for more variety than your traditional simulation, while also keeping the ride feasible time-wise.
