Dodgeball 2: 5 Other Stiller, Vaughn & Ferrell Sequels We'd Like To See

2. Step Brothers 2: Prince of Thieves

Step Brothers 2The Pitch: On their way home from soccer practice one night, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen), Brennan (Ferrell), and Dale (John C. Reilly) find Joshua (Don Cheadle) walking alone in the rain. Much like The Blind Side, they ask him if he has a place to stay, he meekly says no, and they take him home to patriarch Robert (Richard Jenkins). After some convincing, and a rather awkward dinner argument, the family agrees that Joshua can stay with them. Unlike The Blind Side, however, Joshua is actually a Nigerian prince who's living up to his name and conning the family out of money and anything he can get his hands on. The boys would turn him in, except he knows how to drive (which means they can all go out for karaoke and drinks), and he's really good at standing up to their brother/step-brother Derek (Adam Scott). With time running out until the gigantic family reunion, the boys have to make up their minds about whether they should accept their royal brother to be (through a rather late adoption) or turn him in. Why We Want It: Simply put, Step Brothers is one of the best comedies I've seen in a long while, and I'd even put it above Anchorman. The pairing of Ferrell and Reilly is such a powerful mix that it's hard to imagine the two without each other to play off of in such a film. Not to mention, there's already been shelved plans for a sequel/rap album in the world of the film, so why not continue on. Also, the opportunity for Cheadle to flex his comedy muscles with his fellow Funny or Die cast mates is priceless, as he's made quite a splash with his Captain Planet videos. Cameo Possibilities: Vaughn and Stiller play Brennan and Dale (respectively) in the inevitable Hollywood adaptation of their Blind Side-esque story.
