Emily VanCamp's Agent 13 Returning For Captain America: Civil War

Is there anybody not in this film?

The cast of next year's Captain America: Civil War just keeps on growing, with Revenge star Emily VanCamp confirmed to be reprising her role from The Winter Soldier. In that film, VanCamp played S.H.I.E.L.D's 'Agent 13', although was originally in disguise as Steve Rodgers' neighbour Kate. Tasked with keeping a close eye on the hero, she came to his aid when Nick Fury was attacked in Cap's apartment. While her real name has not yet been revealed on film, her character is based on Sharon Carter from the comics. If that sounds somewhat familiar, it's because she is the niece of Peggy Carter (played by Hayley Atwell). Whether the movie will go down that road remains to be seen, but her comic background, and the fact she's returning, suggest she may have a larger part to play this time around. Civil War already includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman and many more. Martin Freeman was also recently announced to be joining the ensemble. The Russo brothers are once more set to direct, with Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely back on script duties. The film will hit UK theatres on 29 April 2016, and land in the US a week later on May 6.
