Every 2016 Netflix Original Movie Ranked Worst To Best
3. Pee-Wee's Big Holiday
Paul Reubens hasn't missed a step here, reprising his role of much-loved man-child Pee-wee Herman with gleeful aplomb in a movie that mostly manages to contain him within the timeless, sexless vacuum that has allowed his popularity to endure with several generations.
It's fleet-footed, consistently fun and basically just a sweet, easy-to-watch reminder of why people love the character so much.
Also, extra points for convincing Joe Manganiello to appear in a supporting role...playing himself no less. If the Netflix model proves successful enough for more Pee-wee adventures in the future, then that's no bad thing, even if the film will do absolutely nothing to change the minds of those who find the title character creepily off-putting.
