29 years after the miniseries was published by Aircel Comics, it's fair to say Men in Black has outgrown its six issue source material. The fourth movie in the franchise, and first not to star Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, MIB: International paired Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson together once again.

The franchise has made a name for itself in the industry thanks to completely over the top action, crazy gadgets, and zany aliens. In this, the 2019 chapter is no different, but this is perhaps part of the problem. Is there anything really different enough in Men in Black: International to render the sequel worth making?

The movie feels like little more than a shameless cash grab at this point, offering a by the numbers predictable plot, a dull script, and a wasted supporting cast, all resulting in a genuine debate over whether it takes the crown as the worst movie in the franchise.
