Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked By How Punchable Adam Sandler Is
25. Bulletproof
A dire attempt to break into the action market, Bulletproof was the first time audiences were especially lukewarm to Sandler's stylings. Which is too bad because, even though he plays a degenerate drug dealer and car thief, his punchability is consistently low here.
A lot of that has to do with his incredible chemistry with Damon Wayons, whose soft spot for Sandler's character ends up making him a lot more sympathetic and relatable than he has any right to be.
Sandler hits the same comedic beats as he does in most of his Happy Madison productions - albeit with a palpable eagerness that's missing nowadays - but failed valiantly in all of the action-centric scenes.
It doesn't matter, though, because Bulletproof can rest comfortably on the fact that Wayans and Sandler was a genius handcuffing experiment.
Punch Level: A stiff pop to the nose, just so he can learn how to react authentically in a fight scene.
