Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked By How Punchable Adam Sandler Is
26. Click
Not everyone has room in their lives for Adam Sandler's more overtly sentimental movies, and perhaps none of them are as openly schmaltzy as Click. At its core, though, it follows the same pattern as most of his filmography. It's a redemption story, and if there's one thing Click desires from its audience, it's to have you cheering its protagonist on by the time the credits roll.
Whether or not the film achieves that goal depends less on Sandler's performance and more on how black your heart is. Because Sandler is really just a vessel through which this "Cats in the Cradle with time travel" motif can be squeezed for a few laughs.
It's pretty funny in a harmless sort of way and at least a little heart-warming, even if there are a few moments where Sandler's obliviousness borders on absurdity.
