Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked By How Punchable Adam Sandler Is
24. You Don't Mess With The Zohan
2008 was a terrible year for world-famous comedy actors from the 90s: Mike Myers made Love Guru, Eddie Murphy made Meet Dave, Jim Carrey made Yes Man, and Adam Sandler tried to out-silly Mike Myers with possibly the most conceptual comedy he's ever done.
You Don't Mess With the Zohan is the story of an Israeli counter-terrorism agent who fakes his own death to become a hairstylist in New York. Wackiness, of course, ensues.
Despite all the pomp and circumstance around the sight gags and random stereotyping that fill up the majority of Zohan, Sandler looks lost (and a little lazy) most of the time. When he does execute a joke with gusto, however, it's enough to briefly remind us why we fell in love with this doofus back in the day.
Punch Level: A high-five fake-out, followed by a slap to the face.
