Every Ben Affleck Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

11. Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (2001)

Ben Affleck Gone Girl Batman v Superman Pearl Harbor

Though it received wildly mixed reviews from critics upon release, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is easily one of Kevin Smith's funniest films to date, as long as you're prepared to get on its goofy, relentlessly crude, wink-wink meta wavelength.

Perhaps the weirdest mainstream stoner comedy ever made, this is part heist flick, part rom-com, part superhero epic, while touting an absolutely colossal revolving door of cameos from actors and industry figures alike.

In scene-stealing fashion, Affleck plays both Holden McNeil and an exaggerated version of himself - the latter hilariously shooting Good Will Hunting 2: Hunting Season with Matt Damon - yet he's ultimately just a small part of a restless, giddy Hollywood satire as exhausting as it is maybe-genius.
