Every DC Extended Universe Film Ranked From Worst To Best (According To Rotten Tomatoes)

1. Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman Gal Gadot
Warner Bros.

Score: 93%

Critic Consensus: "Thrilling, earnest, and buoyed by Gal Gadot's charismatic performance, Wonder Woman succeeds in spectacular fashion."

Wonder Woman's success came as a massive shock, considering the state of the DCEU when the film was released. The film did the right thing by focusing on an origin story for Gal Gadot's title character, who travels to the world of man in an attempt to stop World War I and defeat Ares.

Patty Jenkins directs an amazing film, filled with heart, action, warfare and strong performances. Both Gal Gadot and Chris Pine shine in their roles, with their on-screen chemistry feeling natural and rewarding. Steve Trevor's sacrifice in the final act of the film particularly hits hard due to their chemistry.

The film is also visually stunning, with the scenes on Themyscira looking particularly amazing. Even though the film did a lot of things right, the reveal of Ares and the final confrontation with the villain felt particularly unrewarding. Still, Wonder Woman stands as the shining achievement from the DCEU to date.
