Every Disney Animated Movie Since 2000 - Ranked

18. Home On The Range

Like Brother Bear, Home On The Range feels like it belongs in an older Disney era, as if it would have been more at home in the studio's canon if it had come out in the 1970s alongside the likes of The Rescuers and The Artistocats (or perhaps straight to video during the 1980s).

Taking its name from the popular country song, Home On The Range is a Western-inspired animated comedy focusing on a trio fo dairy cows voiced by Roseanne Barr, Judy Dench and Jennifer Tilly, who set out to capture a cattle-rustler to save their farm from closure.

Home On The Range is one of those Disney movies with limited appeal - standard fare which youngsters will no doubt enjoy but lacking the wit and charm expected of Disney's theatrical releases. Despite the best efforts of the voice cast, it's a film which delivers far more duds than hits on the gags front and was justifiably a failure at the box office.
