EVERY Halloween Death RANKED By Stupidity

Officer Pete McCabe - Halloween Kills

Halloween Kills Michael Myers Officer Pete McCabe
Universal

The first death scene that we see in Halloween Kills, in this timeline, Officer McCabe is one of the first two cops on the scene after the closing events of John Carpenter's Halloween. Unfortunately for him, it's his partner, Officer Hawkins, who's the person responsible for taking McCabe out.

After Officer McCabe is attacked by Michael Myers, there's a brief stand-off of sorts as McCabe is in the position of, essentially, a human shield, as Hawkins has the chance to take a shot at Michael. The nervous, panicked Hawkins makes a mess of things, accidentally, but fatally, shooting his colleague in the neck.

Vanessa - Halloween Kills

Halloween Kills Vanessa
Universal

Does Vanessa act stupidly as part of her death scene? Not really, no. Did it bring an audible laugh from many an audience, including your writer? Absolutely.

With Michael Myers sitting in a car, having just killed Marion Chambers and Vanessa's husband Marcus, Vanessa moves towards the car, firing her gun in the Shape's direction.

However, when she gets close to the car, Michael kicks the car door in her direction, just as Vanessa is about to offload her next shot, with the door hitting Vanessa and knocking her wrist backwards, in turn meaning that the next shot goes directly into Vanessa's skull.

Bill Woodlake - Halloween: Resurrection

Halloween: Resurrection Bill Woodlake
Dimension Films

Played by American Pie fave Thomas Ian Nicholas, Bill is the second person to fall victim to Michael in the Myers House in Halloween: Resurrection, and it's... a smidge odd.

Bill's death comes as he's staring into a mirror, when Michael Myers bursts out of that mirror, grabs him, and stabs him several times.

This is one of those dumb kills that you just have to put down to stupid horror movie logic. How did Michael get behind the mirror? What's behind there? Is it a hidden room that he's managed to conceal behind a mirror? When did he carry out this handiwork? Maybe it was designed by the Dangertainment team? And also, how long did Michael stand there, waiting for somebody to finally look into that mirror?
