The Drunken Locals - Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers

With some of the sozzled locals having decided to play vigilante during the final act of Halloween 4, it doesn't end all that well for these fellas.

Having rescued Rachel Carruthers and Jamie Lloyd from Haddonfield High School, our booze hounds drive our heroines off to apparent safety... only to realise that Michael was somehow hiding under their moving truck all this time. And so, wasting no time, Michael makes quick work of these guys.

Getting drunk and taking justice into your own hands was a fairly stupid idea, but in terms of expecting Michael to have somehow hidden under your truck and manage to stay there while you're moving at fairly hefty speeds? Yeah, that's not exactly something you'd logically be expecting.

Earl - Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers

Of the vigilante locals of Halloween 4, Earl is one of only a few who actually get a name. And for Earl, he's the one driving the locals, Rachel, and Jamie to safety at the end of that movie.

Unfortunately for Earl, he's totally unaware that Michael has hitched a ride and has killed his pals who were riding in the back of the truck. Even more unfortunately for Earl, Michael smashes his driver's side window and just, kinda, rips his head open in a brutal, gnarly way.

Extra stupid points for drink-driving, of course.

Ben Tramer - Halloween II

Halloween II Ben Tramer
Universal

The death of Ben Tramer - Laurie's high school crush from the first film - is stupid on a wide variety of levels.

Firstly, what are the chances of someone having basically the exact same outfit as Michael Myers on that night? That's an outfit that was thrown together, with a William Shatner mask and some stolen mechanic overalls.

Secondly, Sam Loomis just crazily starts shooting at the clueless Ben Tramer, causing Ben to get distracted as a police car drives into him, leading him to get wedged between that car and a nearby van, before he's burned alive. The police car realistically should've been paying more attention here, but could maybe be excused for likewise being distracted by Loomis' erratic behaviour.

Basically, Sam Loomis, as much as we all love him, caused the death of a totally innocent man, in a brutal fashion, and showed zero remorse for his idiotic actions.
