Every Harry Potter Villain Ranked From Worst To Best

18. Quirrell

Bellatrix Harry Potter
Warner Bros.

Quirrell gets points for having Voldemort attached to his head, but he isn't a compelling character on his own.

He's a shy and cowardly presence for most of the film, but we don't learn any more than that until his sudden character change. It feels like there's an interesting character begging to be explored here. Unfortunately, he is either absent or on the side-lines for most of the film, so gets little development. He doesn't have his own personality or motivations; he's just a dull extension of Voldemort.

His death scene is pure nightmare fuel, and is a satisfying way for him to go, but he doesn't have much going for him outside of that scene.
