Every James Bond Finale Ranked

14. A View To A Kill - Golden Gate Bridge

Well, this is one hell of an odd case.

A View to a Kill is incredibly flawed and arguably the worst of the Eon Bond films, but its finale is actually pretty awesome. Weird, huh?

The final fight between Bond and main villain Max Zorrin (Christopher Walken, who gives one of the best performances in a terrible movie ever) atop the Golden Gate Bridge is an excruciatingly tense, palm-sweating delight that'll have pretty much everyone watching through their fingers - and if you're scared of heights, you'll probably be unable to watch.

In spite of the film's age, it still looks great and John Glen's excellent direction fully brings this beautifully-designed fight to life. Also, Zorrin's gleefully savage death scene is one of the best Bond villain deaths to date.

Like with The World is Not Enough, a dreadful Bond Girl (Stacey Sutton, played by Tanya Roberts) is present throughout and that drags it down a tiny bit, but other than that this finale absolutely slays. Not bad for the franchise's most incompetent film.
