Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Madeleine Swann - Spectre And No Time To Die

Unlike every other main Bond Girl, Madeleine Swann was the main Bond Girl of two consecutive films and this resulted in her becoming maybe the most improved character in Bond history.

In Spectre, she was OK and Seydoux did a good job, but the writing for the character was messy and her and Bond's relationship didn't quite feel earned. That being said, in No Time to Die Madeleine was genuinely superb.

This time around, Madeleine was far more charismatic, bad-ass and interesting as a character, while her relationship with Bond was deeply moving and Lea Seydoux was given a chance to show off her range more. In the process, she gave one of the best performances in any recent Bond film.

There were still issues; the film's trailers hinted strongly at Madeleine having a secret but ultimately she didn't really have one and her and Bond's break-up early in the film didn't feel earned but on the whole, she was a very strong love interest who had a wonderful story-line with Bond. Their final conversation is one of the most moving moments in any Bond film.

In the films, Madeleine is also the only Bond Girl to ever have a child by Bond and that part of the film worked very well too. All in all, Madeleine might've had a shaky start but she eventually emerged as one of the finest Bond Girls of all time.
