Every Liam Neeson Action Movie Ranked Worst To Best
12. Honest Thief (2020)
Before dropping the ball so dramatically with Blacklight, Liam Neeson collaborated with Mark Williams for Honest Thief, an intriguing film which finds the actor at his most weary and endearing, despite the fact he's portraying an infamous burglar with a shady past.
Watching Neeson as he attempts to save his romance with a lovely Kate Walsh is honestly quite sweet in its way, even if it can be hard to get past how nonsensical their character motivations are, and speaks volumes about how sensitive Neeson can be whilst selling himself as a dangerous man you wouldn't want to cross.
Honest Thief is derailed by tacky special effects and tired supporting turns from bland villains Jai Courtney and Anthony Ramos, but Neeson sells the melodrama enough to stop it being a total write-off. Though it's worth noting that -- despite being a film about a renowned thief -- there's no thievery to speak of. Hmm.
