23. Ant-Man (2015)
Ant-Man was released between two of the MCU's biggest and most important movies - Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War - thus forming a nice emotional break from the franchise's increasingly high stakes story.
Taking a step back to focus on career criminal Scott Lang as he attempts to right his wrongs and becomes the titular hero, Ant-Man is presented as a frantic heist thriller anchored by the unrivalled charm and comedy stylings of star Paul Rudd.
It's not as memorable as the films around it, and it offers little to the franchise's overall story, but as a standard MCU movie and origin story, it's certainly good fun.
