Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best
32. In The Tall Grass (2019)
"In the Tall Grass" was a novella written by King with his oldest son Joe Hill, and it made for a strong if never transcendent thriller about a group of people who... well, get lost in the tall grass.
The film is faithful to its source material, which leaves it feeling a bit stretched amongst the expository dialogue and dim lighting, but the cast - including scream king Patrick Wilson - are on fine form as struggling souls desperate for survival, and the tone is thick with effective dread. It works, then it ends. Moving on.
