Every Stephen King Movie Ranked Worst To Best
42. The Mangler (1995)
Stephen King sure loves his possessed machinery, and for the most part these stories make for a fun time (see Christine further down the list). Unfortunately, The Mangler is no such story, and the movie adaptation isn't much better. But, hey, at least this one's at least entertainingly awful.
Directed by the late, great Tobe Hooper and starring Elm Street's Robert Englund, the film follows a demonic laundry press that eats people. And... that's basically it. The results are horribly bad, so rife with clunky dialogue and worse effects you'll wonder how anyone involved was even brought on in the first place, or how it landed two sequels.
