Films: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far from Home.

The MCU’s impact on cinema and pop culture has been discussed in incredible detail since the release of the first Iron Man film and with good reason. It’s a rare franchise that blends together likable characters, a mostly winning sense of humour, interconnected storytelling and thrilling action to create a lived in world that sometimes transcends its comic book origins.

It made B-level characters such as Iron Man and Black Panther into household names and problematic storylines such as Civil War into compelling and layered narratives. It definitely has its misfires, but with over 20 good to great films the MCU will power through the new decade with its exciting Phase 4 line-up of movies.
