The recent promo pictures of Sam Jackson are enough to get people excited for the upcoming series Secret Invasion, but luckily there's a lot more to it than that.

Bringing to life one of Marvel's most beloved comic arcs, the series is set to continue plotlines kicked off in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home, as Nick Fury and Maria Hill race to save the world from shape-shifting Skrulls.

With Ben Mendelsohn's Talos also returning, Secret Invasion is sure to an all-out splash, running for six episodes and allowing Jackson the chance to take centre stage after a few years of inconsistent sidelining.
