The future of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was put in jeopardy after the tragic and untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, but Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige have pushed on regardless, opting not to recast T'Challa and instead keep the story moving with the likes of Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia and Letitia Wright's Shuri.

Because of its delays and various production troubles - including an on-set injury sustained by Wright - Wakanda Forever is still shrouded in mystery despite being scheduled for release in November of this year.

In spite of these issues, though, there can be no doubt this is one of the most anticipated Marvel projects on the horizon, offering a welcome return to Wakanda and its stunning culture whilst acting a touching tribute to Boseman's legacy. Whatever it ends up doing, we'll be lining up out the door. Wakanda Forever, indeed.
