When it was revealed that the second Fantastic Beasts movie was going to focus on the rise of Grindelwald, the decision to keep the FB title convention became immediately confusing. Fans were always going to struggle with the relevance of Newt Scamander's little zoo when the greatest ever Dark Wizard was straight-up murdering people and seeking to take over the world.

So it's good to see that there is an attempt to make Newt's importance to the plot to take down Grindelwald stand out in the trailer. Not only do we see Dumbledore telling him he has to count on him, but we also get to see new Fantastic Beasts. That at least delivers on the title, and it's always good to see Rowlings' imaginative beasts realised in "real life" on the big screen.

Let's hope they continue to be genuinely relevant to the plot...
