4. The Effects

As you'd probably expect with a movie this size - and with a budget so inflated - there's a lot of effects work in The Crimes Of Grindelwald, with David Yates clearly seeking to push the envelope on the magical front.

We're going to see more magical warfare, more of Credence's Obscurial powers, an array of magical oddities at the Arcanus circus and a new menagerie of beasts for Newt to catalogue - and potentially use against Grindelwald and his followers.

And from the trailer, all of the effects work looks great (and complete, thankfully), with no compromise on the immersive impact of the world because there's too much obvious CGI.
