2. "Look What That Ant Is Doing 8 Miles Away!"

For giant monsters who don't seem to have eyes in the traditional sense (they basically have burning holes in their heads) the MUTOs have frighteningly good eye-sight. Whenever the humans try to do something to help Godzilla take them out (which inevitably is just pointless and a swift way to get squashed), the MUTOS invariably manage to spot what is happening from a massive distance away, even if if's not in their direct line of vision, and they're in the middle of fighting off Godzilla. There's no frame for how the MUTOs actually see (which you might have expected given their odd eyes), but every time they manage to spot what amounts to an ant rebellion in the distance the effect becomes cumulatively more silly.
