8. Emily In Paris, What!
When a TV series gets hated by an entire country, it's probably a good idea to just slowly pack it back up and gently move it to the back of the suggested list.
So when Emily In Paris had its name written on the nominees' list, it was a little confusing. When a series offends in the same way that Emily In Paris did, it is a really odd call to then nominate it for Best Television Series - Musical Or Comedy. As well as Best Actress for Lily Collins.
The issue here is that there were so many great shows that have been so badly overlooked that it makes Emily In Paris' position look worse. Rick & Morty hasn't been nominated for example, nor has The Boys, both series of which have garnered critical acclaim and have been lauded by fans.
So, how this happened to be nominated at a ceremony celebrating the best in TV & Film is just shocking.
