This past year has been really great for diversive films. In the wake of the past few years and the strides taken by films like Moonlight and Black Panther, black film in-particular has been just phenomenal.

With Da 5 Bloods, One Night In Miami, Judas And The Black Messiah, and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom all getting heavy acclaim from critics, they were all bound to be big players at the Golden Globes... only they aren't.

Sure, three of them are represented by acting nominations and One Night In Miami's Regina King has been rightly nominated for Best Director, but not ONE of them has been nominated for Best Picture Drama.

Da 5 Bloods has been totally ousted by The Hollywood Foreign Press, even Delroy Lindo's amazing performance was swept aside for the inferior Tahar Rahim in The Mauritanian.
