12. The Other

If you have seen the Avengers, you will likely recall a strange being acting as the intermediary between Thanos and Loki. His name was "The Other", he was voiced by Alexis Denisof and he was the commander of the Chitauri army that invaded Earth. He also appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy. He first appeared as a hologram, summoning Ronan on behalf of Thanos, and then he appeared alongside Ronan, Thanos and Gamora when Ronan arrived to speak to his master. In a display of dominance and power, Ronan used his hammer to kill him, however, smashing him in the head and causing it to turn 180 degrees. So, you can bet your bottom dollar that we certainly won't be seeing him again.
