4. Production Begins
The internet net was abuzz with all the sights and sounds from the filming of
Captain America: The Winter Solider in Cleveland, Ohio last week. Meanwhile, without much fanfare, director James Gunn and Dave Bautista, the man playing Drax the Destroyer in
GOTG, have been sending out tweets from London for the past few days. As we learned months ago, London is the home of
GOTG's production. If cameras are not already rolling, they will be very soon. So many names have been dropped in terms of casting (more on that in a bit), but little is known about how all the pieces will fit together. While most of the filming will undoubtedly take place on a closed soundstage in front of a green screen, there could be some on location photography that may provide a litte insight into what the look of the movie might be, at least in terms of costumes. Marvel is usually pretty good about keeping fans informed, so there might even be some officially released images in the next several weeks. The studio may also be a little less tight-lipped about the project and provide a synopsis that will finally shed some light on the plot of the film.
