Let's be serious for a moment. Who in the right mind would willingly call themselves Taserface? That's just asking to get mercilessly made fun of by a talking, sarcastic rodent with a knack for explosives. And lo and behold, that's exactly what happened.

Following a mutiny by half of Yondu's crew, Taserface has his former captain, as well as Rocket held hostage. He forces them to watch as he jettison's Yonud's loyalists out into space, resulting in their cold deaths. He then intends to do the same to our two trapped heroes. In return, Rocket elects to quite literally laugh in the face of death, then makes it a point to relentlessly mock Taserface for his name.

After thoroughly emasculating him, even getting his underlings to laugh in the process, he then manages to free himself and Yondu.

It's a very humorous bit that perfectly breaks the tension of all that had just happened. And the icing on the proverbial cake is when he makes a video call to the sovereign, he is once again laughed at when he mentions his name.
