Halloween 2018: Everything We Know So Far

1. And It Will Bring The Series To A Close

As already touched on, Michael Myers has proved unstoppable over the years, but the upcoming Halloween sequel could be the film that finally puts him to an end.

Not only is the movie being billed as the final battle between Laurie Strode and her murderous brother, according to Variety, it's the concluding entry in the series.

This makes sense, considering Laurie is being given the chance to exorcise her 40-year-old demons on the franchise's landmark anniversary. Having her succeed would be a fitting way to conclude the story and give the character the sent off she was denied in Halloween: Resurrection.

The chances of another reboot down the line are slim, since that's a road they've gone down before with little success thanks to Rob Zombie's rehashes.

But since Hollywood's appetite for repackaging things is as undying as Michael Myers, who knows whether we will truely see the last of him in the 2018 sequel?
