6. From the Set
I can only imagine what it must have been like, at nine years old, to be the star on a high-budget Hollywood movie set. The above image shows Culkin with a video camera while in the process of producing his behind-the-scenes featurette (that's right, this nine year old child got to make a behind-the-scenes featurette), cleverly entitled 'Mac Cam'. Basically the shot you're looking at depicts around 85% of the movie production process; the waiting. Waiting for the camera crew to set up the next shot; for the DOP to assemble the lighting; for the director to block through scenes with actors, etc. It gets tiresome, even for adults. To be perfectly honest, I imagine Culkin was given this featurette task (quite cleverly I might add) to stop him from getting bored between scenes.
