One of the newest additions to the MCU family, Shang-Chi won't be seen in action until his movie releases this September, but star Simu Liu has already opened up about the first time he put on the costume.

When asked about his most memorable moments from making the movie, the actor pointed to his first interaction with the Shang-Chi suit, saying that it was "impactful", "emotional", and that he was almost brought to tears.

The importance of being the MCU's first Asian lead - something that was brought to life when he finally put on the suit - is what tugged on his heartstrings.

Jokingly, Liu then added that he hated the costume by day five, saying "why are there so many zippers?"
