How The Avengers Could Line Up After Infinity War

9. Falcon

Sam Wilson is the Avengers' unsung hero, and with him confirmed to be operating with Nat and Steve in the run up to Infinity War, it would make sense to assume he's in line for a big role.

Falcon, as he's known to his superhero cohorts, lives and breathes the Avengers in the comics. He, like Bucky, even took over as Captain America for a period too, lending the possibility that he could be in line to take over the mantle once - not if - Steve departs.

Regardless of whatever mantle the character possesses by Infinity War's conclusion, it's unlikely that Anthony Mackie's character will be leaving the MCU. Keeping him on as an Avenger is really important, and while he's largely played a peripheral role in the films thus far, he should be in line for something bigger as the franchise moves along.
