Mike Judge, the creator of King of the Hill and Office Space, has made a brilliant little movie that the fucktards at Twentieth Century Fox DO NOT want you to see. Its called Idiocracy.The film was almost completed over a year ago before being shelved by the studio. Judge, stuck with an unfinished film, appealed to his friend Robert Rodriguez, who supplied FREE special effects work to finish the project. Then Fox, obviously thrilled with this charitable arrangement, unceremoniously dumped the picture into video stores. Never fear, though this gem will pick up steam just like Office Space did before it. Its just that funny. The film stars Owen Wilson and Maya Rudolph as two average people in the 21st century who are frozen, only to awaken 500 years later. Unfortunately, natural selection has thinned the population of intelligent people, leaving only stupid, redneck, beer-swilling, monster truck-loving idiots to run the planet. Needless to say, things go terribly wrong. Judge is clearly disgusted by the current state of civilization. He lashes out with sharp comedic barbs at the stupidity, laziness, and commercialization of America. His future has Costcos with thousands of aisles that contain everything, including colleges. He sees the highest rated television show being Ow My Balls, about a guy that gets hit in the nuts repeatedly. The worlds most successful film of the time is called Ass, a movie starring a guys ass for ninety minutes, and it won eight Oscars. Fuddruckers has over time morphed into a family restaurant called Buttfuckers. He envisions mountains of trash piled to the skies, and buildings that randomly fall over due to disrepair. The future might seem ludicrous until you notice that Norbit runs at the multiplex down the street, and WalMart is leveling a neighborhood near you. Judge managed to get these corporations to lend their names to this production (product placement!!!!), but they soon discovered what Judge was doing to their names, which no doubt played a part in this films criminal shelving. Do not let the corporations win! RUN to your local video store and rent Idiocracy! The future depends on you!!
