Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny: 22 WTF Moments

4. Indy Wants To Stay In The Past (Until Helena Punches Him)

Even once Voller's been killed, though, there's one more problem.

As Indy sits on the shore of Syracuse and watches the siege unfold around him, while having a chat with Archimedes himself no less, he decides he wants to stay and live out the rest of his days here rather than return to his downtrodden present.

Even as Helena insists that he needs to return to his time, he refuses, and so Helena does the only thing that'll possibly change Indy's mind - she punches him square in the face and takes him home against his will.

It's certainly a startling moment to see Indy trying to flee his life in the most literal way possible, only for Helena to take control and do the right thing.
