John Malkovich: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

...And 5 That Sucked...

5. Bruce Brazos - Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

Transformers: Dark of the Moon John Malkovich Not so much flat-out awful as just utterly perfunctory and forgettable, John Malkovich is one of two obvious "take the money and run" roles in Transformers: Dark of the Moon - the other being Frances McDormand - playing Bruce Brazos, Sam Witwicky's (Shia LaBeouf) employer and boss at the company Accuretta Systems. Malkovich's character is essentially a means to an end, making it clear - as if we care at all about the humans in this movie - that Sam doesn't like his job very much, and he's essentially lapdog to Brazos. Malkovich's performance is so forgettable, almost as though, you know, he doesn't give a s***. I think that just might be on the money, and you can guarantee that he must have been swearing inside when they asked him to do publicity for the film (given his relatively small role in it).
